Buck & Bunny is the strategic advisory practice of Jono Steffert, a New Zealand-born strategist based in Washington, DC.

For more than fifteen years, Jono has worked across philanthropy, government, business, media, and culture—helping organizations build partnerships, navigate complexity, and turn ideas into action.

His career has included advising senior leaders, supporting global foundations, developing cross-sector partnerships, leading cultural diplomacy initiatives, and creating opportunities that bring together people who might not otherwise meet.

Before founding Buck & Bunny, I spent a decade representing New Zealand in the United States, where I led cultural diplomacy, partnerships, and engagement efforts designed to strengthen New Zealand's profile and relationships across North America.
